About Us

Experience You Can Count On

Sara Roberts is Founder and Principal Consultant at Kettlewell Consulting. She has an extensive international career in Human Resources, having worked with large corporations across industry sectors and regions including Asia, US and Europe. She partners with CEOs, Boards and diverse senior leadership teams to drive a business aligned organization and people agenda. 


Sara is business and outcomes focused, she works with clients in a highly collaborative way to meet their most critical organization, leadership and people priorities. 


Prior to setting up Kettlewell Consulting, Sara was with Citi for 22 years. Her roles included APAC Head of Talent & Learning and other senior HR Business Advisor and Talent roles in Asia and the US.  


Before moving to the US with Citi, Sara worked in senior Regional HR and Talent/Leadership Development roles across industry sectors covering Europe, India and Africa. 


Sara’s areas of expertise include: 

  • HR Strategic Advisory: partnering with CEOs and senior leadership teams to develop business aligned organization and people strategies and deliver best in class people practices. Experience with complex, fast paced, client-centric, highly regulated businesses, mature and emerging economies, and leading teams through the full spectrum of business cycles. 
  • Business and HR Transformation: supporting and leading complex, multi business and country transformations to drive sustainable business growth. With a focus on digital transformation and culture change.
  • Diverse Leadership Succession: a significant area of expertise having identified, assessed and developed generations of senior leaders. Implementing dynamic succession practices to ensure diverse leadership teams with a deep bench. Implementing integrated Talent acquisition and development strategies.
  • Coaching: coaching CEOs and senior leaders, extensive experience of coaching senior leaders to support successful career transitions, coaching high potential talent.
  • High Potential Engagement: design and delivery of innovative High Potential engagement and development practices to support the development and retention of critical talent. 
  • Learning & Development: development and implementation of leading edge learning strategies and platforms. Leading teams to design and develop a broad range of solutions including: developing future leaders, curating business specific learning journeys, and employee centric culture change initiatives to accelerate digital transformation and create a workforce of the future.
  • Inclusion & Diversity: implementation of business aligned and owned strategies to increase the representation of women in leadership and build diverse and inclusive leadership teams. Delivery of broad based Inclusion strategies and outcomes. 
  • Data & Analytics: leveraging Human Capital Reporting & Analytics capabilities to deliver key insights, drive high impact priorities, track progress, celebrate successes and ensure effective use of resources. Using HR dashboards and metrics to engage leaders and tell our story.
